DISTRICT NEW MUSIC COALITION
District New Music Coalition’s 2nd annual conference New Music DC 2019 took place on September 14-15, 2019 at The Catholic University of America’s Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art, and featured panels, presentations, lecture-recitals, and multiple concerts of new music chosen from our 2019 Call for Scores, including spotlight concerts from DC-based ensembles Meraki and Fuse Ensemble.
Pale Blare I & II (electronic, stereo playback) was programmed during the College Music Society International Conference in Belgium, and was performed at the Concertgebouw in Bruges on July 18, 2019.
